The data transmitted via contact form will be stored in order to process your request or to be available for follow-up questions. A transfer of this data does not take place.
The processing of the data entered in the contact form is based exclusively on your consent (Art. 6 para. 1 lit. a DSGVO). A revocation of your already given consent is possible at any time. For the revocation, an informal communication by e-mail to Kai.Hoppe@hereon.de is sufficient. The legality of the data processing operations carried out until the revocation remains unaffected by the revocation.
Data transmitted via the contact form will remain with us until there is no longer a need to store the data, you request us to delete it or you revoke your consent to store it.
Photos
We plan to take photos at the Mid Term Conference and participants may be identifiable. After the conference, we intend to publish some of these photos on our websites (www.sustainmare.de, www.hereon.de, project websites). We would appreciate your permission to do so.
Yes, I agree that my photo and, if applicable, my name may be published on the mission website, the website of the Helmholtz-Zentrum Hereon and, if applicable, the project and DAM websites of the mission for the purposes of public relations and science communication.

For further information on the processing of your personal data, on how to contact our data protection officer, and on your rights as a data subject, please refer to our general privacy policy.
You may withdraw your consent to the processing of your personal data (registration and/or photographs) at any time. To do so, please send an e-mail to Kai.Hoppe@hereon.de. The personal data you have provided us with will then be deleted, provided that the deletion does not conflict with any statutory retention obligations. We will remove your photos from our website within two weeks. The revocation of your consent does not affect the lawfulness of processing carried out on the basis of consent before its withdrawal.
